Cerulean Summer

Invisibly blue, grenades to pollen in Spring

In grey to green of leaves, swishing to melodies

My lips perked, prepared to kiss the Sun

Friends gather in streams, dancing

The sound of laughter ensues; How lovely

Muster up the courage, florals in coquette

Intrinsically beautiful, those tales of future dreams

My ears open to sound, I hear the wind

Incredibly cerulean, in hues of orange

The pinks and purples and greens, tremors

of Bees and leaves — Free to roam

and sting

The view of blossoms and birds, in flight

Beyond the skyline, Majestic in song

Treasuring the moments, holding hands

Dancing, screaming, crying,

The Summer in golden yellows

I’ve been waiting for you
